Blame It On God
When you're working to fulfill God's will in your life, you will be set apart, questioned and feel under-qualified. This morning, I woke up and took captive a thought rooted in doubt. Instantly, I said to myself, "Well, that's on God." When you're walking into things that don't make sense, blame it on God.
God wants us to point people to Him for His glory. A lot of us think powerful testimonies are written by people with it figured out. But really, the greatest stories are written by people who were in situations that God justified them in. God gets His glory when we leave it up to Him to make our situations right.
If you have been busy trying to fortify yourself before a big deal, transition or mountain, might I propose a better solution. Surrender any idea of comfort or self-sufficiency in your circumstance. God is working on your behalf and he doesn’t need you to justify your faith in Him. Romans 8:19 says the entire world is waiting for believhers to be revealed. The scripture says, “For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.” Our suffering won't compare to the glory revealed but it will require us to stop trying to make sense to the world and our flesh. You may feel anxious or nervous as you enter your next. Come out of agreement with your flesh and begin to quote the Word of God. Romans 8:30 says, “And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. 30 And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself.” Whatever you are facing, trust that the Father is justifying you.
I’ve made some shifts in my business and I fully trust that as I blame God for the changes that He’ll justify the outcomes with His glory!
