Day 1: Creation's Expansion

Today's miracle is not just about God's creative genius but about how He ordained humans in the expansion of what was created. Genesis 1 lays out all of the beauty that God created. Then in Genesis 2, God sets the precedence for our managament for things to have abundance.

Genesis 2:4-6 says, "This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made them. Now no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth, nor had any plant of the field sprouted; for the LORD God had not yet sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. But springs welled up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground." God had not allowed the field to sprout because there was no man to CULTIVATE it. This scriptures mandates our involvement for God to advance the Kingdom.

So often we want things to grow as our proof that we are needed

or to validate ourselves. But, the Bible is clear, we have to be involved for things to cultivate. We are commissioned by the Creator to have dominion in what He created. This is unthinkable because most of us don't ever feel qualified enough to get started. Your hands are essential to the development of your neighborhood, industry and the people associated with your authority.

Until we are willing to lead somethings just can't grow. God in all his loving wisdom is not satisfied with creating without our cultivation. How miraculous is it that the Creator of all things wants us involved in the development of what he creates.

Today's miracle is a reminder that we have been called to have dominion and a call to action to know that we must be busy with the work of the Father.
